“Life Begins at the End of your Comfort Zone”
My passion for health and wellness began when I was 19 years old when asked if I wanted to learn to teach group fitness classes. At the time I just thought, “why not it would be fun,” not knowing this was the beginning of a life journey that would lead me to all that I am blessed with today.
I received my degree in Exercise Physiology along with teaching fitness classes and Personal Training. Upon graduating I moved into Corporate Fitness where I spread my wings and had the opportunity to wear many hats within the industry. This opened my eyes to a variety of areas in the wellness industry and brought out my passion for wanting to educate people in how to simply live a healthier lifestyle and not just teach them how to be fit.
Personally, my husband and I were married in 1997 and we have 2 wonderful boys, now 14 and 17. We love the beach, our dog Ryder, going for bike rides and roller blading on the bike path.
When our older son was diagnosed with food sensitivities about 5 years back, it created a fork in the road for our family. It forced me to take a hard look at our lifestyle choices and make a decision to switch out our habits to healthier ones or stay on the path we were on that was not serving our health. Getting my family healthy peaked my interest for Health Coaching. It was then I decided to venture down the road of becoming a Certified Holistic Health Coach so I could share my knowledge and expertise with others. I am blessed with the ability to “work” as a Fitness Instructor (Barre being my favorite format) and Health Coach serving others.
